Which is better, a toshiba or samsung laptop?

So I'm stuck trying to decide between two computers the toshiba 4gb, i5, 500gb, 7200rpm hdd, at 6lbs or the Samsung 4gb, i5, 500gh, 5400rpm hdd at 5.3 lbs. need it for institution. any opinions?

i have a toshiba and it is really accurate performance and graphics and all the rest of it. dont know give or take a few samsung laptops, but i remember some computer guy telling me that toshibas were fundamentally sturdy computers and their parts dont break much. If you are going to buy from one of two only then i would conspicuously suggest you to go for toshiba
