$150 for an ati mobility radeon hd 5470?

I am getting a laptop from a family friend who owns a computer store. He says he can win commercial prices, so I'll have to pay smaller number. He tells me I can get a laptop near the i5 graphics media accelerator for $750, or I can get one near the best laptop graphics card, the ati mobility radeon hd 5470 for an extra $150. Is that a good deal? If not, how much extra is the ati 5470 worth?
