"No bootable device" on Imac?
On my mac, I set boot disk to cd drive to install windows. Before I installed windows I changed my mind. Now. I cannot boot from the internal complicated drive. Also, when I attempt to start up the computer holding the option key down I win a screen with a padlock and requesting a password. I hold not set a firmware password, so what should I do?

The problem is more serious than just having changed to hold the optical drive boot first.
You see, just like beside a PC, the iMac goes through all of the bootable devices attached to the system, and choose the first one it hits contained by the order that has be set. So, even though you set the optical drive to be ahead of the hard drive... if there is not a bootable medium in the optical drive, your iMac would still boot to the hard drive.
As to the mysterious password... resourcefully, it seems that you have more than one purpose to take your iMac to the nearest Apple Store.
