Help- Which of these 2 computers is a better trade for my iPad 64GB 3G?

I have a recently purchased iPad 64gb 3G near AppleCare. I've been offered a 13.3" Macbook G5 2ghz 250gb with AppleCare till 2011 that be bought in Dec2009. Also have an give of a Power Mac G5 dual 2.0/2.5 160gb that the guy will add an air card and see in cash for a display. I would prefer a laptop, but could be in motion either way. Am concerned nearly the age of the Power Mac, and concerned about the battery life span of the Macbook. Which in your opinion is the better trade?
