Which is better, Dell or Sony?
Looking at getting a new laptop. I've narrowed it down to two. Sony EB1E0E, and Dell Inspiron 1564.
On paper, the Dell is slightly better beside 1GB more RAM. and the proccessor is 2.26GHz rather than 2.13GHz. Apart from that, they are basically matching, both with 320GB hard drive. The Dell is lb50 more expensive.
I've also purely found an other Sony, which is the model up. It has 4GB Ram, same as Dell. but a 500GB hard drive. This is lb50 more than the Dell.
I know it's profoundly to take in. I be just wondering what people expect. Which is best. From experience of reliability and general running of these laptop brands.
Answers:
sony = brilliant amazing and fantastic
dell = alright, decent and suitable
personally the sony would be best cuz its not made of plastic.
and sony own a better support program ive always found for if you ever need to draw from it fixed.
id say travel with teh sony
I know most populace would probably say Sony, but i have have a Dell Inspiron laptop for 5 years, and i've never had any trouble with it and i use it nearly every hours of daylight.I keep it updated regulary and i done a self check for any faults that might be present not long,a bit like an m.o.t and everything is still sound. All of those companys use indistinguishable hardware anyway, it makes no difference.
For example, Sony, Toshiba, Dell, and Asus all buy Intel Procssors, but they merely brand it as a "dell" computer.
Thats why you compare hardware not brands. Source(s): http://www.digitwo.com
Dell as Sony is severely overrated and over priced. Dell is good Source(s): http://www.askpcexperts.co.uk/
Sony has better aesthetics but aren't as ably built and are less reliable.
Dell has worse aesthetics but are better built and are more reliable.
Both are good brand
