Dell latitude will not turn rotten?

ok i have a dell latitude D610 and it will not turn off it basically has a black screen and the nouns still works oh and i was on hulu so please help as briskly as you can

To force off any computer, pc or mac, press and hold the power button until the computer turns bad. Its a great shortcut to stop any computer from crashing/freezing/messing up!
