What happenes when you press Ctrl?

Just curious what happens.
Answers:
You press that and something else to enable a hot key.

Press: Ctrl + Alt + Del

You'll grasp the box that shows what programs are running.

If you press Ctrl alone nothing happens.
by its self, nil. but when combined with another key, it will do something. here are some examples:
ctrl+z = untie
ctrl+v = paste
ctrl+c = copy
ctrl+x = cut
ctrl+y = redo
ctrl+a = select adjectives items in window
ctrl+windows logo key+tab = flip through accessible windows using Areo Flip 3-D
ctrl+alt+del = opens a roll of options
ctrl+esc = open start menu
ctrl+shift+esc. = depart taks manager

there are tons more ctrl shortcuts but i didnt want to list em all.

the one that flips through enlarge windows may not work with xp because xp doesnt use the areo chalice user interface
you become the controller of the universe MUAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!

but really, it has lots functions when used in combination with other key, it is used alot when programmers program and when a computer becomes unresponsive
