Marware Sportfolio Sleeve 15" MacBook Pro Case Reviews

This is a good bag for a good price. The little pocket on the outside is pretty useful. I keep my camera USB cable, my flash drive, and some head phones in there. The neoprene smell goes away inwardly two weeks. The edge opposite the zipper is made of rubber so when I'm holding it I have a great grip. Because of that, I am never worried about dropping it, even if I'm walking quickly or in a crowd.

The plastic protector that is inside the case on the edges seems rather useless to me because if I dropped it, I would think that the most protection would come from the cushion of the neoprene, but I don't know much about physics so mine is not an expert opinion. The bottom line about the plastic thingy is that if it is not useful in protecting the computer then it adds a touch extra bulk that I don't want.

The only real negative is fairly superficial. The zipper seems to lose its shape quickly. It isn't that big of a problem but it looks weird when I take the computer out.

The zipper problem and the plastic protector are the reasons I did not donate the product five stars.

I bought this Mareware sportsleeve because I wanted to carry my Macbook Pro around and don't get noticed as if I was carrying a notebook.

This sturdy case does the job very economically and it protects the machine a lot.

It's good-looking, the interior lining is top quality and even the zipper is lined from the inside so it doesn't damage the MBP surface. It has a front small pocket so you can carry your apple remote or even an Ipod in that.

Its capacity fits like a glove the MBP. I also use the speck clear case (making the laptop become a little bulky)...it fitted even using the case.

I'd recommend this to anyone that wishes to carry around or even store safely your notebook.

I was looking for a sleeve to protect my 15" MacBook Pro while in my backpack. This sleeve is surefire, with many well thought-out features. The lined zipper is an especially nice touch. The outside pocket is great for a small calculator, the Apple remote, or even a few pens. Great Buy!

I am very impressed with the durability of the Marware Sportfolio Sleeve for my 15" MacBook Pro, in addition to how its neoprene-like yard goods perfectly fits around my notebook...reminds me in many ways of much smaller Body Glove-made cell phone casings that I've also bought from Amaazon.com before. In general, the Marware case is quite sporty looking with the blue-cloth striping surrounded by the middle and there is some great functionality that you get out of the pocket in the middle for stowing a mouse or other small devices.

Overall, I'd have to say that I'd heartily recommend this Marware case to any MacBook Pro owner who is looking to protect their investment and also to have a slick looking case bag. Very nice to see that a company similar to Marware still puts a lot of quality and consideration into their product line! They'll have to let me know if they come up with any other new MacBook Pro accessories in the adjectives!

This product fits the macbook pro, albeit a very tight fit that is sometimes difficult to zip up. once zipped, however, the computer is protected pretty well.

It's a nice case with a greatly soft liner on the inside. I guess you could try to get an ipod in that little front pocket but I wouldn't try it. It is a very tight little pocket. Maybe more of a remote for your Macbook Pro or smaller such items would be ideal.

By case, I mean sleeve. I have my 15 inch macbook pro in here, it works uncomplicated, protects it from scratches, and it is a close fit, not hard, but perfect fit.

It smells, but that ends soon. It is great. I am very happy with this. I had a similar sleeve for my 17 inch by incase, and I loved it, but amazon does not sell it, and I tried the marware.

I was doubtful with the big blue strip going down the middle of the case, as it looks quite ugly in the picture, I would prefer a solid color, but in real life, the color is no problem. I store the laptop in a rucksack, and keep it in this sleeve, it keeps it protected, and thats all that matters.

With amazon you get free shipping, and if you do not like it, you can return it with ease. I love this product, and want to recommend it to everyone.

People giving this bleak reviews should read the caption (MacBook Pro Case) it does not say Toshiba or generic 15 inch. Marware designs apple products (I have bought ipod cases from them in the past) it is designed for macs. If you want a generic laptop bag, I highly recommend belkin. I wanted a nice tight fit, from a company I trust, that company is Marware. At this price, it is a no brainer.

If you want another case to carry your laptop contained by, you should look at the million dollar bags, as those do not look like laptop bags (I have one for my camera) or you can buy this sleeve and stick your laptop in your book bag or anywhere. It keeps it safe, and dust free.

If you are buying a macbook pro, you should buy this.

Maybe it's only just mine, but it emits a unpleasant odor that I guess is just a characteristic of the material.My MacBook Pro and laptop bag now reek of the scent.

I bought a Marware product for my iPhone and found the flap a little flimsy. I was concerned about buying something else given this issue. However, I took the coincidence after reading so many good reviews and ordered this 15" version for my MacBookPro. Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise! I LOVE this thing. It's perfectly tailored to my notebook and like others have stated, the zipper cover is fantastic and will emphatically protect the edge of the notebook.

I am getting ready to purchase one of these for my partner who has a 13" MacBook. It's a must even if you have another case. No one likes to see the outside of their beautiful notebook get scratches! This is a viable resort to protect. As another reviewer also stated, it is a good way to carry such an expensive piece of technology in-hand in an incognito way.
Great idea.

This very attractive laptop sleeve provides protection from scratches and bumps, as all right as dust.
I usually put my MacBook Pro inside this, and then put this in my backpack.

My only complaint is that the plastic corner edging is only on the bottom, not on the zipper, so there is less protection from bumps on the zippered side.
