Marware Sportfolio 17" MacBook Pro Case Black Reviews
gorgeous October 20, 2007
This item arrived on time , packaged well and it was GORGEOUS!
It is very well made and of the highest quality. I was surprised to see how nice it certainly was and can not understand why the Apple stores do not carry it! VERY PLEASED.
Durable, Elegant and Doesn't look like a typical computer case April 4, 2009
What I mean by the fact that it doesn't look typical is that it has such a professional, elegant look that it only doesn't strike you as a computer carrying case. As a woman, I have always felt that this was a nice accessory/bag you can flaunt proudly rather than a cheesy looking nap sack camping gear type of thing. For the men, it have the professional look of a briefcase toned down a level.
I bought my first bag by Marware for my 12 inch ibook six years ago and it STILL looks like new and has held up extremely well, virtually in brand new condition. The rubber bottom is such a great idea- this is very individual. So you can bet your booty, when I recently bought the new macbook 13 inch I looked on the tag on my carry case to find out who made it because there was just no way I be buying anything else. My only disappointment is that the new bag has the name "Marware" on the side, whereas the older ones just had the cool swirley yin yang kinda logo that was rather small and unsuspecting. I'm patiently awaiting my new Marware case! There's nothing as well made as this one. Superior quality to anything out there and the price on Amazon was 20 dollars cheaper than on their website. Shipping was 9.95. Now that's a great deal!

This casing has worked out very nicely for our macbook pro. It holds the laptop, power brick, cables, etc.

This a great case. Roomy and the strap is stretchy and comfy and being a woman with a small shoulder it actually make a HUGE difference.
Light, Compact and Convenient April 24, 2009
I was a little hesitant when I ordered this for my 17" MacBook Pro. My concern was about being limited in what I carry contained by the same case. In the end, I'm very happy with this compact option for carrying a large MB Pro 17". There are still pockets and they stretch to accomodate the power adapter and other small items. The MB Pro slips in and out slickly and I particularly like having the ablitly to leave it unzipped and plugged in to charge. Quality item. Don't hesitate to order.
This case stinks, literally! April 20, 2009
If you don't mind the smell of burning rubber, then this neoprene overnight case might be for you. It they made it out of some other material, it would've been fine. I wound up returning it and got hit with a restocking fee. Decent case otherwise, except I was also looking for a case from which I could access my MacBook Pro without removing it from the armour. Finally found what I was looking for in the Vyper by Booq. Just unzip, open one side and start typing away.
