I really like my new bag. I am not sure if I would prefer that it zip all the way open. So far it seem perfectly functional the way it is. The size is perfect for the 13" macbook pro.

I've used this laptop bag for about a year now, most often at Walt Disney World, and it's gone through a lot of abuse. Here's how I own used it and how it has held up:

On a typical day, I toss it in the back seat of my Honda, and as I rush over to Disney World (we keep an apartment next door) it almost always gets tossed on the floor. Unless it's something really gummy, whatever I have in the rubbery outside sleeve stays gripped into it. When I get to Disney, I take the bag with me on the monorail, boat or whatever I'm using to get around that afternoon, where it can get knocked on the floor, even stepped on by the crowd. In the theme parks, I walk around with it with the Mac inside turned on, so I can quickly pull it out to type it any details I come across (locker rentals own increased!) or passing thoughts (look at that, the castle is a hexagon!)--a practice that means I zip and unzip the bag dozens of times a day. During the day I also use the bag as a shopping bag, storage bag and purse, since it have two full size zippered pockets besides the one for the laptop (three altogether).

After a year the bag is a little worn around the edges, but the only serious wear is the zipper area for the laptop pocket. The zipper is still good as new (all the zippers are pretty heavy duty), but the soft cloth area directly underneath has become so frayed it normally gets caught in the zipper. In fact, I can't zip up that pocket all the way anymore without a lot of effort.

I'm severely happy with this bag and would buy another one without hesitation.

If you own a 13" macbook... purchase this case. Plenty of room for a mouse, charger and more. Super sexy and protects the laptop well.

NOTE: When you first get the case it's nice of tricky getting the zipper closed but after you do it a few times it closes just fine.

Bought this briefcase shortly after purchasing MacBook 13 in May, 2007. After going to Japan at least three times, Las Vegas four times, and Phoenix twice in addition to taking it to work for 3 1/2 years, the external appearance has few visible scratches especially on the Orca surface. I am extremely satisfied near the sturdiness and quality of this bag in that it protected the MacBook well and withstood much abuse that I inflicted with excessive amount of paper documents and peripheral components such as power adaptors, ear phone, and iPod. The fasteners and strap are still functioning resourcefully. I would probably purchase another Marware bag, this time black one, if I decide to upgrade to MacBook Pro.

If you're going to shell out for a MacBook, you should spend the extra to get it protection like this case. This is just a basic, decent case, not hardshell but it still offer good protection.

It is as billed. I already had a similar bag for my other laptop, so when we got our second laptop it was an easy decision. Stylish and functional. It have room for accessories and some extra stuff, while not being too big and bulky. Can be carried by the handles, but is equally comfortable worn with the strap over the shoulder. No regrets.
