Marware Sportfolio Deluxe 17" MacBook Pro Case Black Reviews

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommend This Case to MacBook Pro Owners October 3, 2010
I purchased this MacBook Pro laptop case after reading all of the reviews on this site and doing lots of comparison shopping online. I was very impressed with this case when it arrived. The 17" MacBook Pro fits very nicely into the padded closure pocket. The construction of the bag itself is very nice and of excellent quality. The other zip section with the pockets is adequate for my use. I found myself wanting a pocket or two designed specifically for flash drives even though there is one un-designated pocket that would hold two flash drives loosely. The Magic Mouse fits nicely into the pocket designed for it, but larger/not-so-sleek mice don't fit comparatively as nicely into that pocket. Other small items that there are no pockets for can be put into the zip section, not making the case too bulky - if you don't mind them just hanging out loosely in the bottom of the case.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice Product - Looks Great, constructed very well, needs more room in the front pouch. May 13, 2007
This is a very nice product, almost worth of a full 5 starts. I only gave it 4 starts because, well, NOTHING is perfect. My only wish is that the front pouch where on earth you would put the chargers, cables, etc, is that it expanded a bit to hold more stuff, so for that reason I give it 4 instead of 5. Appears to be crafted with quality materials and constructed well, and because we know Mac fans a bit more style consious than the Windowz crowd, it looks great!

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap plastic connectors August 1, 2010
This might have been a half-way wearing clothes bag if the strap did not have very cheap plastic connectors. They are not only cheap plastic but have little paper clip like wires that can pop out easily and then the strap is no longer connected to the daypack. This is exactly what happened to mine the first day I used it. You would have to be crazy to carry an expensive laptop or macbook pro in this bag. It is built to break and there is your $2500 Macbook Pro 17" landing on the cement or floor. Don't buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Case March 12, 2007
This case is exactly what I was looking for--a slender armour that matched my MacBook Pro perfectly and didn't add a lot of bulk. Full of nice touches like pockets for the Apple Remote, Power Adapter and iPod. Its got a couple of zippered pockets and an external pouch, so I can carry the documents I am working on. The handle is comfortable. And the case looks good, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very amazingly good March 22, 2007
First of all, I was a little worried because the picture makes it look more bulky than it actually is. It's actually quite slender, and while it's not the prettiest thing, it's absolutely not ugly. Finding a good 17" laptop bag for a female was hell, but I think I made the right choice.

It comes with room for all of your laptop accessories close to your ipod, battery, remote, and plug, along with a sleeve for files, and a couple pockets for cellphone or whatever else you need.

5.0 out of 5 stars fine case for a 17" Mac April 9, 2009
I can't fault this case just because I bought it for a 17" PC, and it's a bit too snug. Great quality, but best used on a Mac.

4.0 out of 5 stars Computer Case July 3, 2010
Great armour for your MacBook Pro. Has every thing in a case that you would need for your computer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great MacBook Pro Case July 12, 2007
This case is perfect if you are looking for a minimalist case for your 17" MacBook Pro. It has plenty of space and compartments sized for your MacBook Accessories. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new covering.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good case! March 24, 2008
I really like this case. One of the plastic bits inside the handles broke and now the only real support from the handle is the neoprene covering. Also you certainly don't want to take the case and let the strap dangle, the little rotating hinges squeak like mad.
On the up side, I haven't had to leave anything home. It just keeps stretching to hold more stuff and never seem to get bulky.
