This case is crap. I looked at it at the store and it looks like it'll provide as much protection as an inter office envelope provides. Everything from Belkin sucks. Trust me on this one. Remember that and you'll save a lot of money.

Nice tight fit, though a bit looser at the bottom than it needs to be. Smells really bad at first. I have to put it outside. After a few weeks the smell is much less, but still noticeable.

I purchased a macbook sleeve by Belkin and it is great and WAY cheaper than at the mall! The only complaint I have is that the box was too small for the sleeve to lay flat contained by the box, so when I took it out I needed to lay it flat for a few hours to straighten the zipper.

This thing sucks! Not sure why Amazon won't let me give it zero stars because that's what this thing deserves. I'm only giving it one because it won't let me contribute it less.

I have a brand new MacBook Air and wanted a sleeve I could throw into my messenger bag and leave there. The idea was that I would vacate the sleeve in the bag and just slip my Air in and out when needed. Nice idea. Well, this damn thing actually damaged my MBA! The padding for the zippers isn't sufficient and I've immediately got scratches on both sides of my computer about one inch from the from the clam shell opening. The zipper goes all the way down to the bottom on one side and on the other side it stops about 1 inch from the top. Well, this is exactly where the scratch now are. I slide it in in both directions and thus I have scratches on both sides.

My opinion? Boycott this company. For some strange reason they actually have an established brand all the same everything I've ever bought from them sucked. I while back I purchased a Belkin FM transmitter for my iPod and car stereo and it never worked in my area. Living in a major metropolitan area just about every spot on the dial have some signal and apparently they're all too strong for the Belkin device to override them. I hate Belkin!!!

Great product. Recommended to all. Price is excellent. Only flaw is it should contort to the frame of the MacBook air more in the thinner front edge.

I have put my Macbook Air (13") in this sleeve and carried it adjectives over the world in my carry-on bag. The laptop still looks new, absolutely no scratches or other wear marks at all. So, I'm a little surprised at the guy who said that the zippers on the Belkin sleeve scratched his MBA. My experience has be the opposite and I like having a thin, light sleeve. I'm hoping that Belkin makes one to fit my new 11" Macbook Air soon. The others that I have seen are too bulky for me.
