Bought this battery as a replacement for nice slim artistic one that my wife and daughter killed somehow. This battery is big, klunky and adds not only weight but makes it hard to pack. But it will power your netbook for an entier transpacific flight easily. Not sure how well it holds up contained by the long run, but mine has been fine for well over a year now. Netbook will be at an angle (elevated back), which in someways makes the small keyboard more functional.

Follow the directions and charge it up. It took me 3 cycles to get a full charge. I love that it is bigger and creates an angle. Lasts at least 6.5 hours for me at this point.

I am editing this to remove my comment that it would not fit within my laptop bag. LOL it seems all I needed to do was put it in with the battery down first...then it zips up nice and snug.

I'm very disappointed next to this battery. First, the description says it is an Acer battery, but it is not. It is from a company called AGPtEK. The two-sided instruction sheet does not even contain any information about who the vendor is or how to contact them. Seems like a misrepresentation to me.

Second, All the descriptions of the battery indicate that it adds for a time bit to the thickness of the back end of the netbook. Unfortunately, no place were there actual measurements to support the subjective statements. In actual fact, it doubles the thickness of the back end to two inches. While this DOES hold the benefit of providing an improved angle for the keyboard, it also means that the netbook no longer fits in its case ... nor does it fit in any of the nice neoprene cases designed to safeguard the netbook in your briefcase or messenger bag. Still have to amount out what kind of bag it can be carried in, because carrying the battery separate will be extremely inconvenient.

I hope the increased battery life will turn out to be worth the trouble.

The batter has worked fine. I like the larger battery size as it worked for me adjectives the way from PDX to DAL. The free gift the sd card was missing and the card reader was broken.

This battery will add some weight to your netbook, but it's worth every pound. I'm getting about seven hours of battery-operated life, which has been great. I also like the design of the battery as it gives you a slight angle which makes typing the keyboard much nicer.

The Acer Aspire One replacement laptopm notebook 9 cell mobile came on time, was delivered in a protective wrap, and charged up to 3 hours the first time. It got progressively more time with each charge and on the 5th charge, came up to 12 hours+.
It tilts the notebook forward but this may be more comfortable and cooler for most users. I similar to this product and would buy it again.

i got 2 copies of this battery. i folloed the instuctions carefully on both times. the first battery only worked for 4 hours and was deteriorating quite quickly over a course of 1 month such that it completed up holding charge for 1 hour only.

i returned it and promptly recieved my replacement battery which was much worse (charge lasted only 20 minutes).

I did a good job of following instructions and I have given up getting a third one.

Just beware if you are ocnsidering buying this.
