Fast delivery, no problems with the battery. This battery was priced 10 bucks cheaper than any other on Amazon so I was very happy with the price and the battery-operated performance to date (1 month after recieving the battery).

Make sure this is the battery your laptop is compatible with, it is perfectly compatible with mine and it works as well as the one that came with my computer. Long life, no problems whatsoever.

I bought this replacement mobile for my daughter's laptop, I have the same model laptop.
I noticed it fit pretty tight, not like the original Mac battery, It was hard to remove,
I tried prying it out with a small screwdriver and that started to outer layer off the cheap foil
outer surface. Hopefully the functionality is up to par. We've only had it a month, but I have
to say the cosmetic aspect is lacking.

I've lived long enough to know that one can't generalize off a single experience but I thought it noteworthy to share my history with this product. As the title implies, I bought this battery from this vendor in March of this year. Everything worked just fine -- I enjoyed 2 - 2.5 hours of battery life for oodles months. Then, about two months ago, it dropped to 15 minutes and now zip(0)!

For those of you that think it could be something wrong with my laptop's recharging -- you could be right! I dunno with any certainty. But I doubt it. I'm looking for yet another replacement battery because I'm too cheap/poor to upgrade this fine laptop. I'm sorry to read aloud I won't buy it from this vendor.

This was a terrible choice. Once I received the battery, it worked for about a week. Even then, it did not work properly. The percentage left on the battery was never correct. One sunshine, I was notified for about 45 minutes straight (approximately once a minute) that I was on reserve power. After a week, the computer no longer recognized the battery. I just now decided to try it again, and the mobile will not charge at all.

When you replace a battery on a 6 year old laptop I don't have super high expectations. After several month of use everything seems to be working fine. The original battery on this Mac be recalled and a new one sent by Apple more than 4 years ago, so no one get ever thing right all the time. At the price paid if it lasts half the time of the prehistoric battery I'm money ahead.

I also trust Amazon to stand behind products they sell.

I purchased this battery for my G4 Laptop for the very reasonable price. It arrived within 5 days and it has worked perfectly since. I am VERY SATISFIED! I may purchase another one for my son's laptop. The with the sole purpose nuance is that the bottom of the battery is not hard plastic like the original it is almost like a flimsy plastic membrane over the lithium ions cells. But as I said that is no problem.

I have used this battery for almost a month, and so far so good. As any other rechargeable battery it must be allow to drain down to 5% o 6% and then charged up. freestyle duration depends on how many peripherals or devices are plug to the laptop. the more devices the lesser the battery will last for that cycle... I've been using my laptop as a desktop for some time and every single port/ power outlet is "taken" and additional usb hubs (2), not to forget a full size scanner, and of course the printer. the battery alone will not last terrifically long, but if I take the laptop for a ride somewhere without the devices it is a very sweet story ... about 1:40 hrs not bad for an aftermarket battery. So this is what i do., every day the ac power is plugged, and at the end of day the laptop is put to sleep WITHOUT the charger and every other sunshine the battery is drained with normal use, either with devices attached or without them , and charge up again and will make the battery last up two years. Now I own a desktop computer and the laptop is used for is what meant.....(light work that is) Laptops are not substitutes for desktops (lesson learn the hard way); two original batteries from mac and now this one, my laptop is Powerbook G4 aluminum and a whole of extras which makes it a real hog for power. which be purchased in 2005

It was the exact battery that the G4 computer needed. The battery life is what it said it was and maybe a little longer.
