Hello people,

Just purchased new dekcell battery and it is no good. I followed directions and charged it first with computer off before use. I bought one with 8-cells that be supposed to do 5+ hours. My computer on the same settings did 5 hours before with my old battery. So, it isn't my computer with these settings. It died shortly after 2 hours. I didn't play music or do anything intensive. I just read e-mails and some of the time I had closed screen so street light was off. I DID time it since I was interested if the time they said it would have was true. A cheap battery that is just a waste. Might as economically buy a 4-cell quality one that will get the same amount of time with less weight and won't stick out awkwardly.
