Holds a 2 1/2 hour charge my battery was gone good replacement dell equivalent 150 for a 9cell this is a 6cell but for 20 very satisfied.

I bought this battery because my last battery was completely limp. This is the 4th battery I've had for this laptop and I really am close to moving to a completely new machine, so I went for cheap. In the past I had ordered the larger cell batteries but this time I only looked at price. Although it wasn't completely clear this mobile is smaller and only lasts about 2hrs which is fine for my needs. I have a netbook that I usually take with me to meetings and this laptop is mostly stationary on my desks (either home or office) but I do bring it home everyday. It's nice to have 2hrs when I necessitate it. The other replacement batteries that I had for this lasted 4hrs when first received but quickly lost the ability to fully charge after a few months. I've only had this one about a month, but so far it is holding up.

Overall, I would purchase this battery or another from this trader if needed in the future.

I got this when my dell battery wouldnt hold a charge, after 3 years of usage. The new batteries from Dell are super expensive, averaging around $125, so I went with this one as a cheap alternative. It get the job done but doesnt hold the charge anywhere near what my old battery did. After being fully charged, it only lasts maybe 2 hours at max brightness. And when I turn on my laptop it takes a few minutes to achieve fully lit (like a phloresent light bulb) even when plugged in. But for now it works and the price was good.

This product works fine. The only difference with the DELL original is that this works for about 1 hour and a partly when it was new, while dell's one worked for about two hours. But is good for the price.

I have two of the same notebook and purchased this battery to replace one. The battery does not hold a charge. I used my good battery-operated in the second notebook to see if it was the notebook, but that battery does charge on the notebook that I bought the new battery for. I conclude that the batter is bad. Due to being given the run-a-round with the dealer, I just took the loss.

This is good in a pinch, but please don't expect these batteries to last more than 9 months to a year.

I ordered it for my Dell Inspiron E1405, when the original battery died after about 3 yrs of use. The productive Dell replacement battery was very expensive. So, I decided to take a chance and order this one from Amazon. This replacement worked really well for the price I paid. Even though I hold used it for one month only, so can't comment on longevity, but the charging capacity is almost same as the original one and I had no problem in replacing and immediately using it. Definitely recommended for its price & use.

I'm very disappointed with this replacement battery. I hold never gotten more than 1-1/2 hours, usually substantially less, around 45 minutes, out of this battery from a full charge. I know I'm using it correctly. It's simply not performing as advertised. The only reason I'm not demanding a refund is that the laptop is starting to age and I'm considering replacing it, so there's no reason to throw good money after bad. I'm a dissatisfied customer in relation to this purchase and cannot recommend it for the Dell XPS M140.

I'm a computer professional (and a Dell certified tech), and I bought this battery for a client who couldn't afford the official Dell model. From what I can tell, the battery functions perfectly. Assuming all these batteries are of the same quality, I can undamagingly recommend this budget brand if you need to replace your battery.

It work and is still holding a charge for 4+ hrs a month after purchase. Dell wanted $155. for the similar battery.
