This replacement part worked in my HP dv6408nr. It installed pretty easily into the laptop and works very well. I really like the feel of the keys, very solid and responsive. This be a way cheaper option than what HP had on their site and the quality seems as good, if not better, than the original keyboard.

Shipper had sent the wrong keyboard. I sent an email and got a response right away. A couple of days later i was sent the replacement. I was impressed with the good service.

Few of the keys on my Compaq Presario V6000 series laptop get melted due to nearby heat source! Don't ask me how :)... I researched and ordered this keyboard from seller. I got very prompt delivery with nice packing..no issues. I open the case and realized that even though part number was same, layout of keyboard was different and was not fitting my laptop :(. I called up the technical support and they be so supportive and professional right from the word go! They spend considerable time to understand my issue and offered me to replace/send the replacement right away and even advised me that I may not have to return the previous one as they did not want me to incur the shipping charges (considering that it was $18 worth of product with $6 of shipping)! This has been truly great experience and I would never hesitate to place demand on them any time in future. All in all they have gained all my trust and I would recommend all to place orders on them when ever you requirement any relevant products.

Just received this keyboard and replaced the old one on a dv6700 and it works perfectly. Haven't had a problem with it yet and am glad to have replaced it.

After my cat established to use my laptop (Compaq V6000) as his own "hot spot"... and then proceeded to take several keys with him when I picked him up; I needed a replacement. This keyboard was a perfect fit.

Now then, if you're wondering about how much fun this is to install, I'd say-so plenty. If you're good at marking down where every screw came from and can feel around for anything you missed (easy to do) without getting frustrated and just yanking, you'll do fine. Otherwise, buy this keyboard and bear it to a repair shop, you'll probably save quite a bit on the repair if you already have the part (I've worked for repair shops and they usually like to mark everything up a little). It took me maybe half-an-hour to pop the old one out and get the different one in. Worked perfectly first try, no complaints at all!

My husband, who works on his computer towers all the time, was hesitant when I said I was going to replace my laptop keyboard. But, the keyboard be really easy to replace with the directions from the web. Great product no problems with it since I installed over six months ago.

My son threw up on my dang on key board. The RFVTGB keys were not working. The RFVTGB keys still are ruined on this keyboard.
