Guess you get what you pay for. The go on this battery is super short...almost as bad as the bad battery I replaced. Get MAYBE 30-60mins... Frustrating.

Noticed that there be some less than stellar reviews, but this battery is exactly what it says, a battery. Just to confirm a couple of things:

- There are no instructions in the packaging
- Plug it into the hole where your old battery be
- Stores electricity after being charged

Had it for a couple weeks now and works great. Such a bargain compared to other batteries for these laptops. If you need a battery for an HP model in the list, pick this up.

The battery came well packed with a literature in several languages on the DON'TS but had no literature about what to expect, no instructions roughly initial charging etc... We have to ASSUME that we simply place it on our laptop & go... The life of the battery initially, went to less than an hour... at that point I felt like returning the battery. So I charged it for 12 hours & played it after...last for 3 hours before the "yellow warning sign" appeared (or 12% left). So I charged it again: It took the battery 2.5 to 3 hours until it says 100%. The life of the battery hence is ONLY 2 hours. I'm thinking of returning this..I'll give it another test.
