Dell Replacement Inspiron 2650 laptop battery Reviews

I've been using this battery in my Dell Inspiron 2650 for nearly a year now. It's worked fine and done exactly what it needs to do. My only complaint is the presale information doesn't tell you that it doesn't come "preformed" and you need to "form" the mobile yourself when you install it. What that means is you need to completely cycle (charge and drain) the battery 2-3 times before using it normally. Failure to do so, the manual warns, can cause the battery to operate at smaller amount than full capacity or fail prematurely. It seems a disservice to customers to not inform them of this installation requirement up front.
