Excellent high performance replacement battery for less than half the price from manufacturer. This battery seems to charge faster than original and so far later about 3 hours before recharge is necessary. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I thought I'd try the non Dell battery. It has simply lasted 10 months. Very frustrating. Our laptop is not even used daily, so I would have expected this battery to have lasted longer. Disappointed.

I bought this battery in June 2008 and after 2 years it has started to loose the charge. Currently the most charge it will hold is 1 hr, which is not bad, after 2 years. Frankly, I reason this battery worked really good for the price. I use the laptop almost every day and recommend this battery. Maybe, I just got a good battery.

My artistic Dell lithium battery died after a year and I was hesitant to replace it somewhere other than a direct buy from Dell. My husband talked me into buying the exact battery I needed from Amazon at a third of the price and my computer is back to new! It's been several months since this purchase and my mobile life is still over 4 hours! Great product - I couldn't be happier!

You thought the factory batteries are bad because they only last 1 year?

Well this cost half as much, but only lasts partly as long. I bought this less than a year ago, but the battery has held only a bout a 5 minute total charge for the last 3 months. So that makes it even worse than the factory...which I previously thought was impossible.
